Professional title and professional regulations

Professional title: Dentist (Zahnärztin), conferred in Ukraine
Professional licence: Licence to practise dentistry pursuant to § 13 (1) of the German Dentistry Act (Gesetz über die Ausübung der Zahnheilkunde, ZHG), issued by the Berlin State Office for Health and Social Affairs (Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales Berlin), valid until 30 June 2028
Status: Working as an assistant dentist (Vorbereitungsassistentin, employed dentist) at MVZ Volksdent GmbH in an employed position under the supervision and responsibility of a licensed dentist

The following professional regulations apply to dentists in Germany:

  • German Dentistry Act (Gesetz über die Ausübung der Zahnheilkunde, ZHG)
  • Professional Code of the Berlin Dental Association (Berufsordnung der Zahnärztekammer Berlin)
  • Scale of Fees for Dentists (Gebührenordnung für Zahnärzte, GOZ)
